At the suggestion of Molly Day, a group of PBC women who have a heart for ministry and want to express that desire through sewing, needlework and other projects, have begun to meet to determine where we might be of service. We strive to remember that it’s all about connections.
Any ladies who would like to join us are welcome- the more hands the better!
This month we are working stuff bags for EOAF.
Here is an example of the denim stuff bags (24″x30″) for Eastern Oregon Alcoholism Foundation. Many clients arrive there with little to hold their belongings. We hope the stuff bags will give them something by which to remember their journey to sobriety and let them know we care.
We meet the every Thursday at 1 PM at The Church.
YOU can help too! We will be reaching out to the church membership for assistance in securing donations of fabric, thread, trims,/lace, fiberfill (or other stuffing materials), and occasional financial assistance for shipping charges, etc. for different projects.
